Downtown - Winston Salem

We’re on Fourth Street, the tree-lined “main street” of the city’s core. All these restaurants and shops you see thriving now were once boarded-up stores. But the downtown renaissance is well underway. Over there is the Stevens Center, the centerpiece venue of the UNC School of the Arts. And everywhere you look (and walk, because downtown is eminently walkable), you’ll see buildings and factories converted into residential lofts. Let’s turn here onto Trade Street, the home of the Arts District. We’ll grab a latte, too.
